My Dream

"Dream is not that which you see while you sleep, it is something that does not let you sleep." - A. P. J. Abdul Kalam

I dream of a day when every person irrespective of class, religion, caste, race, color, creed, power, sex, age, language, and place has an opportunity for learning. I dream of a fantasy world where there is no hatred, but only love, where there is no war, but only peace, and where there is no ignorance, but only knowledge. I dream of a time when government systems serve people without corruption and inefficiency, hospital systems serve patients without greed, law and justice systems serve citizens without being influenced by power and money, media systems serve audience without bias and inaccuracy, and education systems serve learners without being ignorant. The bad news is that we can never be perfect. The good news is that we can always get better. The great news is that we can easily get better from learning. I believe that my dream of building a Shangri-la, i.e., a world full of happiness and peace, is possible through learning and learning only.
